TEACHING MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION

“Mindfulness means paying attention…
…in a particular way: on purpose; in the present moment; non-judgementally…

…to what’s happening in the present moment in the mind, body and external environment, with an attitude of curiosity and kindness.

mindfulness uk; Jon-Kabat Zinn; The Mindful Nation Parliamentary Report October, 2015

I am a mindfulness and meditation practitioner as well as a teacher in training. I have been practicing for 4 years and developed a practice grounded in:

  • psychological knowledge gained while studying psychology at Warsaw University;
  • cognitive behavioral therapy;
  • counselling skills;
  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques
  • environmental psychology;
  • sound therapy & sound baths
  • and zen buddhism

Invitation to practice with me

My approach combines several disciplines that are intended to make you feel more grounded and at ease in the world that we live in. I work with mindfulness meditation, various breathing exercises, sound and music, and nature based techniques. Nature and the sense of belonging to it are significant parts of what I do and why I do it.

Come to think of it, the only thing that ever exists is the now – this second or this minute, if you’re lucky. Before you know it, it will become the past, while the future hasn’t happened yet. Still, it has the power to shape both. Therefore, I think it’s worthwhile to pause and look at the now. The world becomes infinite then.

TESTIMONIALS

VERY MUCH RECOMMEND ZOFIA’S GUIDE

I found Zofia’s guided practice to meditation extremely helpful. I had not meditated before but was keen to try it out. I was looking for a guide that was easy to use and shared good techniques. This guide was excellent and encouraging and supportive in highlighting how to meditate. Thanks to the guide I was able to meditate and experience the many benefits it brings.
