Working on this photoshoot gave me great joy. In the photos I aimed to channel Ewa’s love for nature and her strong sense of belonging to and being an equal partner with our environment. Ewa is training to become a herbal healer and she aspires to cherish a close relationship with mother Earth.
That’s why it was important to me to place her where she would blend with the surroundings, why I was determined to leave the natural shade. We were shooting at noon on a hot June summer day.
